Solidaris is a community-oriented and activist mutual organization. Its teams work daily to
humanize change and reinvent a model of an inclusive, empowering, and sustainable society. Thus, despite crises and attacks, Solidaris steadfastly defends a fairer and more tolerant societal model, founded on an ideal of social justice and progress for all. We are an intermediary body, a counter-power against structures that aim to weaken social protection.

As a player in local health and co-manager of health and disability insurance, Solidaris is at the
forefront of measuring the impact of the environment on health. The living environment, nutrition,
exposure to pollutants, time and climate, as well as extreme weather phenomena, are
all environmental determinants of health.

In a context of acute environmental crisis, the work of the Climate Coalition is essential to drive change. It is therefore only natural that mutual organizations join in.

Furthermore, the environmental crisis we are experiencing does not affect everyone with the same
intensity. Exposure to environmental risks and the capacity to adapt vary greatly,
particularly based on socio-economic status. The same applies to the individual impact on
climate and biodiversity. That is why Solidaris advocates not only for an ecological transition,
but for a just transition that addresses the root causes and leaves no one behind.
