The Belgian Committee for UNICEF or UNICEF Belgium represents UNICEF in Belgium under a recognition agreement signed with the United Nations Children’s Fund. The mission of UNICEF Belgium is to draw the necessary attention of the general public, businesses, and governments to children’s rights in Belgium and around the world. To accomplish our mission, we work at various levels:

• Fundraising to finance our programs on the ground
• Training on children’s rights through education programs for children and professionals who work with children
• Children’s participation and awareness of children’s rights through campaigns aimed at youth, young parents, and the general public 
• Advocacy for children through partnerships with policymakers, businesses, the media, and civil society actors.
