FRIENDS OF THE EARTH is an association of citizens who live and act for a society that cares for the Earth and its inhabitants, in a spirit of fair sharing and joyful simplicity. In Belgium, our local groups, in collaboration with the staff, work together to create a more welcoming society.

These changes take shape through various themes: energy and climate, as well as solidarity in food, domestic water management, the preservation of biodiversity, voluntary simplicity and degrowth, transition initiatives, and permaculture.

Friends of the Earth is part of an international federation, Friends of the Earth, represented in over 60 countries.
