The National Center for Development Cooperation, or CNCD11.11.11, carries out three essential missions:

• To call to action: as a coordinating body, the CNCD-11.11.11 calls upon national and international political entities to acknowledge their responsibilities regarding development cooperation and international solidarity, particularly in light of climate justice; the CNCD-11.11.11 also collaborates with its counterpart, the Flemish umbrella organization 11.11.11, to advocate for the Climate Coalition.
• Raising awareness: education for global and solidarity citizenship (EGSC) aims for a transformation of values and attitudes, both individually and collectively, to ultimately achieve societal change.
  As a coordinating body, the CNCD-11.11.11 promotes awareness campaigns, information dissemination, and mobilization of the population, alongside its member organizations. In terms of climate justice, awareness-raising is conducted in consultation with other members of the Climate Coalition.
• Financing: through Operation 11.11.11, the CNCD-11.11.11 funds the development strategies of hundreds of organizations in Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia.
  Conceived and executed by organizations from the Global South, these projects, presented by active organizations in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, implement often creative solutions to find sustainable answers to everyday challenges, particularly in addressing climate disruption.
