Entraide et Fraternité is a Belgian Catholic NGO focused on international solidarity, aiming to reduce inequalities and combat social injustices.
Entraide et Fraternité supports local organizations in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Asia with this goal in mind. These associations are primarily active in the field of agroecology, implemented notably as a means of adapting to the ongoing consequences of climate upheaval and fighting against food insecurity and dependency.
In Belgium, Entraide et Fraternité
- educates the Belgian public, particularly Christian communities and youth, through activities in schools, fostering analysis and critical reflection on the mechanisms governing North-South relations, to achieve individual and societal change;
- strengthens, through advocacy and political analysis, and in collaboration with other civil society organizations, the movement proposing alternatives and challenging unjust structures and mechanisms.
