As marine scientists, we witness the devastating impacts of climate change on the oceans through our work. We demand action to stop our dependence on fossil fuels for the benefit of humanity and the marine ecosystems on which we all depend for a habitable planet.
We will hold a brainstorming session soon to plan our messages, signs, and protest materials at the Innovocean Campus in Oostende (Jacobsenstraat 1, Oostende). Once we have a plan, we will hold a creative session in which we will make our signs and materials. This will probably be in the same location in late September, details to follow.
