Ecokerk connects ecology to Christian spirituality. The organization was established in response to the request of Belgian bishops in 2005 at the Network Justice and Peace to develop a Christian vision surrounding ecology and spirituality, and also to illuminate the paths for putting this vision into practice.

Ecokerk reaches out to the Flemish church and to all movements and groups inspired by Christianity: solidarity organizations, schools, care institutions, hospitals, churches, parishes, orders and monasteries, socio-cultural associations, and more…
